About UUism

We are the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Philippines (UUCP).

We believe in a loving God and a just, helpful and caring community. Our churches and fellowships covenant to affirm and promote 8 Principles of Unitarian Universalism. We are headquartered in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, and are led by a President, Rev. Nihal Anton Attanayeke, who was elected in the yearly convention last April, 2008.

Our congregations are located primarily on the island of Negros in the Visayas, with emerging churches in Metro Manila. We have over 2,000 members in 25 churches. We welcome newcomers interested in studying Unitarian Universalism, a free, liberal religious tradition grounded in historical Christianity. Please contact us and join our email list.
